Jarosław Jańczak (Adam Mickiewicz University/European University Viadrina): Geopolitics of the European Union: Transformation of EU’s External Borders in the Context of Changing Global Order
The ongoing changes in the structure of the global order have resulted, especially recently, in border processes in Europe taking place in a new international environment. Surprisingly the war in Ukraine left the borders open for the refugees in the region but the conflict, at the same time, revised dominant approaches to the border dynamics in international relations in Europe. The lecture aims at debating new approaches to studying border dynamics in Europe.
26 October 2022, 4.00-5.30pm (CET): Online lecture (Zoom), Lecture in English
